Dr. Nishit Pandya is the 'Managing Director' at Nhance Dynamics. He is a unique combination of an Engineer (DE, BE, PEng), a Research Scientist (MS, PhD), a Project Manager (PMP) and an Entrepreneur with immense passion for innovation. Dr Pandya received his Diploma (DE) and Bachelor's degree (BE) in Electronics & Communications Engineering (1998, 2001) from Gujarat University, India. He then went on to receive his Masters in 'Satellite Communication' and PhD in 'Deep Space Communications' from Lancaster University (UK) (2004, 2008). Besides this, he is also a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI, USA, a certified Professional Engineer (PEng) from PEO, Canada and a published senior member of IEEE. Started his professional career as a Project Engineer with Space Applications Centre (ISRO) in Ahmedabad. He then went on to work as an Electronics Hardware Engineer at e-Infochips (now Arrow Electronics) in India and USA (2001-2003). He moved to UK in 2003 to receive his Masters and PhD research degrees at Lancaster University, UK, where he then worked as Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the Department of Communications Systems, Lancaster University, UK. He also served as the Assistant Dean of Cartmel College at Lancaster University (2006-2008). In his professional career spanning 20 years, Dr. Pandya has worked in the fields of Engineering Research as well as Product Development, mainly for the Aerospace and Defence Industry. He has extensive experience in Defence Manufacturing and Standards for Quality Control and is a trained Six-Sigma Green-belt. He has presented papers in many national and international conferences. His research work has been published in many international journals like the IET (IEE), IEEE, and European Space Agency (ESA) Journal. His research contribution has been in the area of Coding & Modulation, HF Military Communications (STANAG Std). Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-S2/T2) and TETRA Mobile Standard. He received multiple scholarships and research funding from 'Engineering and Physical Science Research Council (EPSRC), UK and FP7 EU Grants. He has worked on research projects jointly with NASA (JPL), BBC Research-UK, CISCO Systems-USA, Thales-France, HW Communications-UK, Rohde & Schwarz-Germany, Selex Communication (Finmeccanica), Spain, QinetiQ, UK. And Celestica-Honeywell, Canada. Recently he worked from 2016-2020 with L3HARRIS, Canada. In India he has worked with clients like Adani, GERMI, ONGC, SAC (ISRO) to name a few. He, has contributed significantly in the development and standardization of the TETRA professional mobile standard (ETSI), used widely in Europe. Academically, he has been teaching many subjects like Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Robotics, Embedded System Design and Reliability Engineering at various prestigious institutes like, Ahmedabad University, Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Indus University to name a few. He has presented many research talks at various conferences, organised at Nirma University, Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communications Technology (DA-IICT), Ahmedabad University and many more. He has also guided many PhD and MTech students for their research projects and is also on PhD examination committees at various academic institutions in India.
